This $45,000 Classic Plymouth Features Embroidered Cartoons On The Seats And We Are Obsessed

This 1968 Plymouth Road Runner pillared coupe is one of 29,240 that were manufactured for the nameplate’s inaugural model year—and it is one of 13,707 such units that were built for the U.S. market and had a 383ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is said to have been subjected to a rotisserie refurbishment around 2000 and is finished in Electric Blue over black vinyl upholstery with Road Runner cartoon embroidery. Other equipment includes tubular exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, a Mopar “orange box” ECU, 15″ chromed steel wheels, red-line tires, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, a woodgrain steering wheel, a tachometer, a Hurst shifter, and an AM radio. The car was recently sold for Sold for USD $45,000.

Finished from the factory in Electric Blue (Q), the car was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment, according to the seller.
