The new 250-Series Land Cruiser is built on Toyota’s global truck platform, which also supports the Tacoma and the 4Runner in the U.S. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter hybrid engine that produces 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, a significant amount for a smaller engine in a large truck that weighs just over 5,000 pounds. It has a full-time four-wheel-drive drivetrain, center and rear locking differentials, and an available front stabilizer bar disconnect.
