Little girls as of age 3 are in high heels, makeup, tanning and also in colorful dresses as a part of their ritual.Prize: $600.Martin Parr had said in his feedback, that the image was captured at a traveller’s wedding in Wexford, Ireland really catches the ambiance of the event, with everyone in their places. The woman on the left, adjusting her daughter’s dress, with a cigarette in the mouth is exceptional, and this with the layers of pink dresses makes an exceptional image. Also it is a co-incident that the 2 winners both distilled a complicated real life situation into beautifully balanced images. And that we will see with his runners up, we often get a strong image embedded in simplicity, but his challenge of street photography is to make order within chaos.
