Fernando Alonso spotted driving his LaFerrari in Monaco
2-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has been spotted in his LaFerrari after a long break. The Spaniard was seen driving out of the Ferrari service centre in Monaco.
Earlier, Alonso’s LaFerrari was seen parked at the service station. It seems the hypercar had come for its annual service before being picked up by the owner himself.
As you may be aware, the spec on Alonso’s car is rather unique. It is finished in Nero DS Opaco, which essentially is matte black with red accents. The wheels are painted to match the exterior, while the brake calipers are painted red.
Powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, the LaFerrari’s internal combustion engine produces 789 hp, while the electric motor adds another 161 hp for a combined output of 950 hp and 664 lb-ft. This rear-wheel drive prancing horse is capable of sprinting from 0-62 mph in under 3 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
Alonso once had a Ferrari Enzo in his collection as well. It was sold at $5.9 million earlier this year.
