350-Powered 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 5-Speed
This 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was acquired by the seller in 2004 and refurbished between 2018 and 2020. It is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a fuel-injected 350ci V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include 15” American Eagle wheels, 35” tires, a 4” Old Man Emu suspension lift, power steering, an air-locking front differential, and four-wheel disc brakes along with a front-mounted winch and aftermarket bumpers. The cabin is appointed with inward-facing rear jump seats, air conditioning, a Grant steering wheel, and a six-speaker sound system with a JVC stereo. This FJ40 is now offered with service records and a clean Utah title in the name of the seller’s trust.
The body was removed from the frame and repainted during the refurbishment, and the seller describes the color as Sky Blue. Exterior features include a custom front bumper, an ARB rear bumper, a WARN winch, a rear-mounted farm jack, and black fender flares. The 15” American Eagle wheels are mounted with 35×12.50” BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. A spare is secured to a swing-out rear carrier. Equipment includes power steering, a 4” Old Man Emu suspension lift, a front shackle reverse kit, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The front bucket seats and inward-facing rear jump seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery. Cabin features include air conditioning, a JVC Bluetooth stereo, and a six-speaker sound system.
The Grant GT steering wheel frames replacement instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 480 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci Chevrolet V8 was installed under current ownership and features Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and Air Flow Research cylinder heads, according to the seller. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The frame was powder-coated during the refurbishment, according to the seller, who notes that the front axle is equipped with an ARB air-locking differential.
