300Tdi-Powered 1988 Land Rover Defender 110 5-Speed

This 1988 Land Rover 110 is a left-hand-drive five-door wagon that was reportedly used by the Turkish military. It was refurbished before being imported to the US and was acquired by the seller in 2024. Finished in matte gray over burgundy leather, the truck is powered by a 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Equipment includes power steering, a 3″ Terrafirma suspension lift kit, four-wheel disc brakes, 18″ alloy wheels, a bull bar, LED lighting, tubular side steps, a roof rack, Alpine windows, a rear ladder, air conditioning, power windows, a Bluetooth-capable MICA speaker, and a touchscreen infotainment system.

The matte gray body shell with a black roof was reportedly sourced from a 2012-2016 Defender and was installed during the refurbishment. Exterior details include a black bull bar, LED lighting, auxiliary lights, dual side mirrors, perforated rocker panels, tubular side steps, a roof rack, Alpine windows, a rear ladder, and quad exhaust outlets.

Black-finished 18″ Wolfrace alloy wheels are mounted with 35×12.50″ Accelera M/T 01 tires, and a matching spare is mounted on the swing-out rear door. The truck is equipped with power steering and the suspension is modified with a 3″ Terrafirma lift kit. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.

The front bucket seats and split-folding rear bench were sourced from a Land Rover LR3 and are trimmed in burgundy leather. Insulation was applied to the roof and floors under a black microsuede headliner and black carpets. Appointments include air conditioning, power windows, a custom center console, an auxiliary switch panel, billet aluminum knobs for the shifter and transfer case levers, bright door handles, a Bluetooth-capable MICA speaker, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a replacement instrument cluster while a digital speedometer and compass are mounted atop the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 1k kilometers (~620 miles).

The retrofitted 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was rebuilt, resealed, and installed during the refurbishment according to the seller. Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through an R380 five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential.
