2021 Ford Shelby Mustang Super Snake
One of few examples finished in Velocity Blue and offered with just 78 miles on the odometer
The 2021 Shelby Mustangs hold special significance as they were crafted in commemoration of the late Carroll Shelby’s 98th birthday. To honor this milestone, a limited run of 98 units, appropriately named the “bundle of snakes” in reference to Shelby’s Cobra logo, is being produced.
An homage to the company’s history, the Shelby Mustang Super Snake pays tribute to the 1960s when Shelby introduced the experimental GT500 Super Snake. Only one of these Super Snakes was created, fetching $2.2 million in a 2019 sale.
Priced at over $135k, the Super Snake features a Whipple supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, 20” forged aluminum wheels, Brembo 6-piston front calipers, widened front fenders, serialized CSM badging, and more.
The example we see here today currently available on PCARMARKET and designated as #21 of the 98 units produced, is finished in Velocity Blue with an Ebony leather interior. It also comes with an optional Shelby-tuned Borla Variable Exhaust.
Propelled by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine with a Whipple supercharger, the Shelby Extreme cooling system, a billet throttle body, high-performance fuel injectors, an oversized air intake tube, and a Borla exhaust system, the vehicle boasts 825 HP according to Shelby American. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential.
This 2021 Ford Shelby Mustang Super Snake one of the few examples that came finished in painted in Velocity Blue is now offered for auction with only 78 miles, essentially in brand-new condition.
